The winners of 60th National Film Awards have been announced and for this time, no single film has dominated the list.
Director Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Paan Singh Tomar' has bagged the award for the 'Best Feature Film' and Irrfan Khan, who played the lead role in it, has been chosen as the 'Best Actor' along with Vikram Gokhale for a Marathi film 'Anumat'i.
Actor John Abraham's production venture 'Vicky Donor' starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead has been awarded as the 'Best film for wholesome entertainment'.
Honors for the South include director Balaji Sakthivel's Vazhakku Enn 18/9 which has fetched best Make-up artist award for Raja, while Poornima Ramaswamy has won the 'Best Costume Designer' award for Bala's 'Paradesi'.
Art Director Lalgudi Ilayaraja has won the National Award for his set work in Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam'. SS Rajamouli's commercial blockbuster 'Eega' won the award for 'Best Visual Effects' and was chosen as the Best Telugu Film too.
